Making Entries

• All entries are done online.
• Existing users can login to the online entry system.
• New users, please email Debbie Sage (debbie.sage@brentwood.bc.ca) to request a user name and password for your club.
• If you are unable to use the online system for any reason please contact Debbie Sage. We welcome any comments or suggestions.

Deadlines:

• Entries will open on March 15, 2010 and close on April 10, 2010 at noon
• Scratches (without penalty): 12:00 noon - Friday, April 16, 2010
• Payment of fees: Before racing starts - Friday, April 23, 2010
• Accommodation requests: 12:00 noon - Friday, April 10, 2010
• Cafeteria services: 12:00 noon - Friday, April 10, 2010
• Late entries: 12:00 noon - Friday, April 16, 2010

Restricted entries

Entries are restricted to one entry per club per event, up to a maximum of 21 entries per event (determined by the time of entry into system). All entry and fee deadlines are to be observed.

Second entries will be considered if there are empty lanes and no new heats are created. They will receive priority according to their time of entry into the system. Second entries are considered exhibition and, as such, will not advance to finals or score points.

Late Entries

• Late entries will only be accepted if they do not create additional heats and are received before noon on Friday, April 16, 2010.
• Late entries will be assessed at double the regular entry fee, i.e. $28 per competitor per event.
• Absolutely no entries will be accepted after 12:00 noon, Friday, April 16, 2010.

Scratches

Scratches will be accepted without penalty up to noon on Friday, April 16th at the Brentwood Rowing Office. Thereafter, a scratch fee equal to the race fee per event will be levied. Failure to pay this fee would result in disqualification from all events for the Club concerned. No-shows will also be assessed at $25.00.

A race

A minimum of three entries must be received to constitute a race.

Fees

Entry fees for the whole regatta must be paid in full before the regatta starts on Friday April 23rd. No crew will be allowed on the water whose fees have not been paid. Please note: there will be no refund of entry fees should weather conditions cause cancellation of races. All the expenses for the regatta are incurred prior to the event. Fees are C$14.00 per competitor per event. This includes the Rowing BC fee of $2.00 per day and the full buffet lunch on Sunday following the completion of racing.
